Hi Siddharth,
Allowing people, on the lips is typically not recommended at least until the baby is older than 3 months of age. This is due to the increased risk of the baby contacting infections such as respiratory infections, cold sores etc. However, occasional exceptions can be made for the parents of the baby, provided they are well clear of infections. It is also a good idea to not practise kissing the toddler on the lips, as in the future it may help them realise the importance of personal space and to set boundaries.
